On behalf of the Board of Directors, I welcome you to the Mead School District. As a public school system, we are committed to equipping students, inspiring problem solvers and creating leaders. Our goal is to provide the best possible educational opportunities and activities for students in the Spokane region.

For more than 100 years, the Mead School District has and continues to maintain a solid reputation as a highly effective institution of learning for all students. Every school promotes high academic achievement for diversified learners of all ages and learning abilities. The Mead School District staff is dedicated to providing quality learning programs for students, while creating caring learning environments based on trust, compassion and friendliness. Each school strives to ensure students acquire the knowledge and skills to become involved, contributing citizens. The district is continually looking to enhance learning programs and opportunities to help students meet future challenges.

I extend a warm and open invitation to parents and community members to become involved in our schools. I am convinced involved parents and patrons are vital to the health of our students, organization and community.

Thank you for your support.
